Cervical Radiculopathy

Surgical Options

If the conservative non-surgical treatments fail to relieve pain over the course of 6 to 12 weeks, surgery may be recommended.

The exact procedure depends largely on the condition that is causing the cervical radiculopathy. Before your surgery, your orthopaedic surgeon will discuss the options with you in detail. In most instances, the goal of the surgery is to not only relieve the pain, but also restore proper function and movement to the affected areas.
